(ALVA, Okla., April 27, 2023) – Four Northwestern Oklahoma State University faculty and staff will be celebrated on May 4, 2023, at a Retirement Reception in the Student Center Ranger Room from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. The public is invited to attend.
The 2023 retirees include:
Kevin Fields, Maintenance, 18 years
Dr. Cornelia Mihai, Professor of Chemistry, 19 years
Dr. Steven Palmer, Professor of Business, 13.5 years
Dr. Shelly Wells, Professor of Nursing, 11 years
Watches and plaques will be presented to the retirees funded by John and Margaret Barton, who both graduated from Northwestern. John Barton was an instructor at Northwestern and served as the Dean of the School of Language, Fine Arts and Humanities for several years.
