Cali Griffin, head rodeo coach, Northwestern Oklahoma State University, has been selected as the recipient of the 2026-2027 Donovan Reichenberger Fundraising Award.
Now in her third year as head coach, Griffin has made a tremendous impact on the Northwestern rodeo program through her dedication to fundraising and program development. She successfully raised nearly $200,000 to construct a new arena at the Don Campbell Rodeo Complex, a project that has significantly enhanced the student-athlete experience and strengthened recruiting efforts.
In addition to leading this project, Griffin has been instrumental in improving facilities and helping elevate the overall quality of the rodeo program.
Her fundraising efforts have provided resources that directly benefit students and support the continued growth of Northwestern Rodeo.
A proud Ranger graduate (2013) and former assistant coach, Griffin’s commitment to Northwestern extends beyond the arena. Her passion, leadership and vision have positioned the rodeo program for long-term success, making her a deserving recipient of this honor
The Donovan Reichenberger Fundraising Award was established in 2010 by the Northwestern Foundation & Alumni Association with the goal to recognize the private fundraising efforts of Northwestern Oklahoma State University faculty and staff.
Named for Donovan Reichenberger and his example of generous fundraising service, the award honors an individual who seeks to further the mission and vision of the university, allowing continued prosperity during a critical time of diminishing state support.
Reichenberger served as a history professor at Northwestern from 1967 to 1993.
